Hi,
I'm in the process of installing a 340 into my 1969 Sport Satellite Convertible and am trying to determine which aftermarket intake manifold will fit under my stock hood (which has no hood scoop whatsoever). I have heard good things about the Edelbrock RPM Air Gap series (casting 7576) but don't want to order one only to find it doesn't fit and since the 340 wasn't a factory option for the 1969 model year of this vehicle I can't find much information on people who have actually done it. The engine I have purchased doesn't include a stock manifold so that's not an option.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

mate you can always get a dropped base air cleaner from summit, they range in all sizes.

what you can do is get the measurements of the intake form edelbrock website.
and measurements of the carbie.

measure from intake base to hood, with maybe some clay or whichever way works for you then workout how much room you have for an air cleaner and get one to suit.
the rpm air gap would be the optimal choice for an intake.

I have a 1973 SSP and the Edelbrock RPM Air Gap with Edelbrock carb and 16" round air cleaner and it fist under the hood.

I had that Air Gap on the 340 in my 69 Dart and it cleared by about 1/2" with a 4bbl on it. I would think it would fit in your B Body.
