I'm lookig for a company that can restore the steering column in my `65 Belvedere (column shift, cable shift 727TF). I checked wit SMS as they had restored the column in my `65 Coronet and `76 Belvedere but they said they don't touch cable shift columns, so i need to find another source. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Steve

I'd be interested to know who does columns too. Thinking of getting mine done over the winter.

Let me join the party. Also looking for someone who rebuilds them at a reasonable cost. Norm's charges ~$500 for the already rebuilt shafts.
Hopefully someone else knows a cheaper alternative. Need one rebuilt for a 1970 Road Runner Auto column shift.
Also, can someone post/send a pic of an original 1970 b-body auto column shift steering column?
And what is the total overall length?
I'm thinking the one in my car was possibly bastardized and made to fit from something else.

I have one restored, its nothing crazy, has a new turn signal switch, ignition switch, and key/cylinder set, painted matte black. Its at my cabin, we don't go up there until after labor day but if you are interested I am going to bring it back next time we go up, I can get you some pics. (its up there because I bought it up there and forgot it there when we left...
