wow, I tell you what. after dealing with these 2 company's you sure learn how poorly a business can be run and how bad there customer service really can be.

BDS-
-ordered my blower with no problems "after talking to the guys in the back"
- engine builder called them and tried to get tech info- wouldn't let him talk with anyone until he had my invoice
-tried ordering t shirts, emails were never returned, called in and the gals up front were just straight snotty and said they are backordered "may want to put that on your website"
- went to order a belt gaurd while on the road one day and they said you need the measurements from here to here so I got them and called back and was put on hold for 15 min, then someone answers and says well you need to go online and order this, I explained nicely that I was on the road and she said well I cant help you.
after all this I have come the pissed off point and call and ask for the manager, again one of the snotty gals up front, well I am the manager what do you want, just hung the phone up and gave up.... all the guys I talked to in back were great, up front the girls are plain rude, snotty and don't give a crap about you.

Indy-
-called to buy heads and was inquiring on which setup would be good for my application, treated like a total idiot, talked down to and then the answer I get is you are stupid for trying to run this setup with a stock block, "that's a direct quote including the stupid part" , well with respect indy, i'm going to do it with that block and its not your place to tell me i'm stupid. maby say I wouldn't advise that? a 800 hp 440 might not last that long in a stock block but I don't have $4500 to spend on a block they don't make and you cant find anymore.

sorry just venting a bit but these 2 companys are the WORST I have EVER delt with in my life, including my work, which has me dealing with a lot of different buisnesses and personalties.

as far as the other companys ive dealt with in my build, hughes engines, precision industries, elite vintage auto, 727 specialists, strange engineering ect.... have all been top notch, couldn't ask for better, hopefully this saves someone from the headaches ive encountered...
ps... if anyone knows one of the head honcho's for bds id love his email address
pss. I will be sending a pic of a big burnout to indy heads with an piss on indy sticker on my back window of my car with the stupid engine in it.

I've heard similar comments before about Indy. Haven't used them myself, probably never will. And two thumbs up for Hughes Engines. I bought my entire valve train from them and Dave, the owner, walked me through the entire process. While we're giving out props, here's a few other service providers that I've dealt with during my build that I recommend:
- Bob at Glen-Ray radiator
- Cass at Dr. Diff
- Dick at Firm Feel
- Dwight at Classic Air

Probably forgetting a few...

Been hearing crap for Indy for years but this is a first for BDS.....

Yup,
I "learnt" here on the forum that INDY is NOT the INDY I dealt with back in 2001.....

yep...BDS I sure would never do business there ever again, I actually at one point was about to sell the brand new blower just to not advratise for them and go with the blower shop just cuz I was so pissed off i had to call the blower shop to get my answers, and they were more than happy to help me. couldn't stomach the $ loss. the women at my local dmv are more pleasant to deal with !!!!! lololololol
that's why I started this thread was to hopefully save someone the frustration.
as for indy.... how they even sell a product I don't even know, I suppose they take care of a certain few.
