Is there a good tip to taking out the rusted out broken clip screws? I have more than a few between the front and back windows. some of them so bad all you can see is a tiny point where the screw used to be.

Had the same issue on my 64 ... used my Dremel with a grinding disc and ground them off flush and used a small punch to tap them out of their holes.

Got them out, had to drill out a few of them front and back. I hope the hole isn't too big oh well. Funny things you find when you get stuff apart. The dash in the front was only being held in by two out of the five bolts lol 1 of the 3 missing was busted off in the clip rusted real bad. Found some new correct bolts and clips from 521 restorations online. Was pretty amazed overall at how well the original color is under all that rubber gunk.

I got everyone out of a 68 and 69 sans 2 or 3 by cleaning the screw as best you can(sharp pick / scribe), giving it a gentle tap via the screw driver placed in the screw head and using a good phillips with good technique to back them out. Take your time.

Yeah should have done that on a couple, didn't figure that out until the last rusted on then realized that small tapping of the under bracket would swing it lose in the unscrew direction. oh well two of them have slightly oversized holes I'm sure I'll figure it out, I'll ask the body guy maybe he can tack a piece of thin sheet metal over the hole and re drill it. Now I know for next time :)

I try to keep telling people about McMaster Carr, if not going for 100% correct I've found them to be a life saver on hardware. You can by the clips, screws, etc by the bulk for a small fraction of what others charge. I replaced nearly every fastener with purdy stainless button head bolts for less than what people pay for steel ones although they also sell the steel ones. Just an option.
