Hi folks. I replaced my stock cam (stock rebuild) with a 490 lift hydraulic comp cam with double springs. It did not occur to me till now that perhaps I should have replaced the pushrods as well. Seems to run fine as is but want to be sure. Any thoughts on this? Thanks for any feedback.

IF it ain't broke........don't fix it.

For a cam that size I would not worry about push rod length.

You can purchase a tool relatively cheap, and measure to order the correct size. Chances are if the new cam is not too radical, you can get buy with the stock ones. Be sure to check how the rocker contacts the valve stem. I put a pretty big cam in my 66 Coronet and had to measure for new push rods. Just my 2 cents.
