My cousin is selling his 69 Camaro SS396 in California, the #'s matching block is in NJ. How does one go about shipping an engine block?

strap it to a pallet and take it to either a fastenal store or forward air terminal
they both ship terminal to terminal at a good rate

Throw it on a pallet and call some carriers to get quotes, ups, fed ex, R&L carriers. etc...

You might want to hide any numbers on the block, wrap it in plastic. Just a thought.
