I bought this 65 Coronet a few years back as a parts car and after I got into it decided to keep it and build an AWB car.
Didn't know if anyone else is working on one???

Nice I was gonna do that to my belvedere but it had no rust after blasting. I just couldn't bring myself to slice it.

I'm doing one at this time also! been a long time project! Closing in on it though! Hope to have the drive train finished up sometime this summer! It's a 65 Coronet also! Strictly race car! looking for the mid to low 8s 1/4 mile!

There are a few right now being built with my fiberglass parts. I have 2 different package deals for them . Package number one is the front end package, which includes hood, awb fenders, a/fx scoop, and front bumper. Package number two is the same but also includes doors, trunk, dash board and for the 65 Dodge we have backup delete plates. Give Sled City Fiberglass a call.

Services of Old Saybrook just completed the fabrication and altering. Body n Paint next. I have just started a FB page Match Bash Bandits. Looking to be on the track in 2018. Will be also starting a racing series for Altered cars.

Quint. You got to get this one done

I've had this one sitting a while. Been building a new garage which took some (all) of the car funds... Plus I have one other project car trying to get done first, then has to sell to finish the AWB car.

I'm in the same boat as bull1t...
New garage is draining me dry...but the time has come where it is a necessity...
Actually kicking round selling my 70 Satellite to make everything easier...
That's going to be a hard sell...:(

mine before & after paint by the previous owner I just need to work the bugs out of it after sitting for over ten years.

Cool stuff guys, I came across these guys in Scottsdale AZ a few years ago at a cruise night and they had a 65 altered and a 68 SS they built, Greg does beautiful work.

I was too young for this when it all originated. Born in 64 so I remember very little before about 1970.
Always thought they were pretty wild and after looking at one to purchase realized my day job was insufficient. Only way I'd ever have one was to build it...It's not correct by any means and wasn't supposed to be. But at least what I have so far is payed for...
Now if I can get the new garage into the same "payed for" status I can start working on it again...
Here are the last pics of it before going back into storage for at least the summer...(optimistic outlook)

I built mine as a 2%. Tried to capture the look of the early attempts at altering the WB. WB is now 113"

Yeah. The 2% is cool. I started with a sedan, and did 10/15." No straight axle for it, moved the k-member.
