Who's your pick for the biggest keyboard jockey without a car or a RUNNING car?
And
BTW, I "SSR" was the originator of cooking skirt steaks at the track since 2005. Copycats only started after 2010 to prove he wasn't a mooch!

I traded my jack stands in for some drag radials that would spin even if they were super glued to the track, so the winner or wiener might be my hero that cant find his pistons.

No jakstands here, I haven't been without a running and or racing mopar since 87. There is a 2 year gap when I blew up my 6 pack engine. Luckily a few years before that I had picked up my current 67 R/T.

My pick for the Top of the Top Ten would have to be W8Avenger....we have never seen his car, nor has it ever been proven who this guy really is. No proof, no pictures, never happened....I suspect he is a pigment of someone else's flaky imagination. Taking pictures of some random dude at the track holding a camera proves jack schitt in my opinion.

BTW, I've done my time racing and showing cars. I relax these days by enjoying others efforts on the track.
Post your track times and slips up Mr SSR, and I'll dig a few of my lesser times up here also. I should be able to find a few. My GTX still holds a couple of track records down under, with magazine articles to back that claim.:D

My vote for the first 5 posers are
1.Buddicks- won't ever be in a race car again. Doesn't leave the house and has food delivered to his house, this is my guess!
2. #1kiwimod- has a lot of time on his hands,
3. #2crotchitymod- doesn't leave the house much anymore.
4. Ht413- car will never get done and has more excuses.
5. Marpar- does he even have a car, my guesss he was picked on in grade school.

I admit I could be in the top 10. But hope to have it done soon. Jackstand picture for proof.

6-10 will be up shortly,
BTW W8Avenger takes photos, he never said he was a racer. But at least he contributes to society.

In progress 4 years, jackstands 1 year.

Raced a 69 RR for awhile then switched to bikes for 10 years, now back to cars again. Went 6.89@207 on the top bike. 6.77@202 on bottom one.

I think we who are working on our cars should take SSR's advice and not engage in conversation with him...:elmer:

oh yeah, real nice steak. I can still see the marks from where the jockey was hitting it.

for the record I have 3. but at least I didnt blow 100 grand on a **** motor.

Jackstand Racers...I love it.
We got this guy comes out to the Track and all the Mopar Shows. Knows everything about Mopars apparently. Checks out your car through his glued back together 1980's horn rimmed Glasses and aptly discusses every detail he can.
It has gotten to the point that when we see him coming, we hide. Every big Mopar Race/Show Event...there he is LURKING.
NEVER seen his "Cuda" & are 100% convinced he is living with his Mom. Other Mopar People have insulted him just to get rid of him. This Guy fits the Jackstand Racer stereotype to the T.

I can technically call myself a Jackstand Racer, the result of 2 bad engine builds in a row. My Dart sits and will sit until I can find that responsible Engine Builder who will stand behind his work.
An extremely positive result of becoming a Jackstand Racer??...my bank acct has never been healthier.
All that time spent prepping my Car for Racing has been converted to time spent MAKING MONEY.

This coming from someone who put a Audi interior in a B body.
How's the Wombats doing?
Oh the irony...:realcrazy::rofl:
yeah, you wish you had that kind if creativity and vision. Sure, just slap a big motor in an old body and bolt some go fast **** onto it and yer king of the world and can look down on everyone else and sneer. Your just sad, go race and lose and keep it to yourself. We here are having way too much fun ridiculing you. It's asshats like you that make regular enthusiasts feel like they cant go to the strip and have a fun day. If it's not all about you, you have nothing else.

SCt119 is fortunate to afford all those nice cars.Would any of you have 4 cars in the same class of car with the fastest in the high 8's??? The fastest one is about a second faster than my jackstand STREET car.
And let's not forget the manly PINK PANTHER:eek:

Mine isn't the fastest, nor is it the slowest. About 100 passes a year. It's had its share in the winners circle. But I can say, I built the cage, did all the sheet metal work, tubs, cage, narrowed the axle, wired, plumbed, built brackets, trans , and built the engine myself. I did not paint it or do the upholstery.
