They don't have it. I need to find a guy that has an early sand cast Dominator parts carb.
Probably built in early 69. Later in 69 they changed a lot of things. Changed again in 70.

My early carb has brass boosters, and sleeved to 950 cfm.

Here's a pic of a early sand cast Dominator, showing the pump arm. I'd buy an entire carb to get that correct link!
There has to be one on a shelve, in a garage someplace - just need to find it and work a deal.
Thanks for the reply.

I do believe you can update them with the later model arms.

In my case, I need the part to look the same... If it was that easy, I'd be done already!
Period correct restos are a pain, but when you do find the right part, it's worth it.

Didn’t realize that’s what you were doing. Are they early 6214’s or something else. Now you really have my interest? Lol

Check with Chuck Nuytten carbs. He has an early dominator up for sale.

Single 4500, 950 cfm sandcast Nascar carb

I emailed Chuck the pics, waiting for a reply.
If he has one, I'll buy it!
I'll let ya know. Thanks.

Could the arm be 3D metal printed and be strong enough? Cost? Maybe look into that. Never tried to remove that spring off the lever?

The spring/screw/bolt comes off. 3D would have to strong.
soon after, Holley updated the levers to the 'big flap' look.
My carb is 'sandcast' and the lever was used on this type only, no other carb before, or, after.

Where you goin Jimbo??
Going to visit a friend in Florida. said there was a good swap meet just outside Gainsville this weekend, then going to head down to Ocala to pay a visit to Don Garlits Drag Race Museum.if I don't find it at the swap meet I'll ask Don if i'm lucky enough to see him ;-)

Cool. You can pull up this thread and show him the pics.

So what’s is it you are restoring that requires an early dominator? I know the trans am Series mustang used them. I thought they were 1050cfm. I’m intrigued lol
