I have a fuel vent line in my engine bay in 1972 RR. The charcoal canister is long gone, and I don't need one.
Is it OK to leave this steel line open?
I know I don't want to cap it. But I believe I've seen people recommend running a hose from vent line to breather or air cleaner. I'm not having any issues but wonder about fumes maybe entering engine bay. Thanks

What’s wrong with capping it for later use? Like going to fuel injection later on.

This is the fuel vent line that comes from tank that used to go to the charcoal canister. I was under the impression that it's definitely not supposed to be capped.

My bad, you could save line for future use & make up a new shorter one close to the tank.
