where is the most popular/coolest location for and MSD box? Any pics will be nice

A lot of people like to mount them on the passenger side firewall, or on the fender. Mine will probaly go on the fender.

They mount easily under the battery tray if you want to hide it. In the race car its behind the glove box door.

El Paso Tx.....well, inside the car the coolest place or if outside, towards the front of the car where it can get air flow.

I mounted my MSD6al under the battery tray on my 62 Dart. Very easy to conceal the wiring and run it with the other wires. This is the only picture I have and you can not see it but it is very easy to get to if needed.

I didn't want to see it, so I painted it satin black, and mounted it on the radiator support passengers side behind the grill.

Mine is above the parking brake foot pedal on the inside of the car.

Mine is under the battery tray. I mounted it to where I could easily get to the plug in dial for rev limit selection. I mounted the dial on the framerail behind it.

The wiring for distributor runs between water pump housing and timing chain cover. I trigger it with a recurved RB distributor.

While it is hidden, it is also easily accessed. If i want to remove, I take out the battery and remove the 3 bolts holding in the tray.

4500 troublefree miles so far and hundreds of dragstrip passes.
