A mopar brother wont be down........

Sucks, man.

We will all get there eventually.

Enjoy life while you can.

My condolences, to take the time out of your day to take care of him he was blessed to have a friend that actually cared being a care giver is a hard job and it takes a lot out of you i was my dads care giver when he was dieing of cancer when people get sick you usually find who is truly your friend and from what you said you were truly a good friend

May your friend rest in eternal, peace. No matter what he may of done in life, he doesn't deserve to be hung out to dry as he got old and infirm. People are so calluas these days. You were a true friend and apparently more family to him than his children. I'm sorry your friend is gone. Give his family NOTHING! They do not deserve it. Did he give you his belongings in writing, and if so is it notarized? The kids will likely fight you for it. Lock up that car somewhere safe. You know that guy is going to try to take it. RIP Pete. Randy

Sorry your buddy has passed on. Your a good guy to have stuck with him when he needed help.
There is some good still left in this world.

RIP Pete. Sounded like a wonderful person and you had a wonderful relationship with Pete. I'm sure he knew how thankful he had you around. You are a good person for what you did and its an honor to see that you are a member here. Screw the family he had since they did not seem to have the time for him. I am sure you will find someone from this group that will purchase the car. Its a beautiful car. God Bless you sir.

I am sorry to hear about your friend. There is a special place waiting for you when your time is up Brother!

You are a special person. RIP Pete.
Before you sell the car I think you should take it for a long ride with the top down. Maybe a weekend trip and just drive with no where to go but where the car takes you.

He definitely had a good friend late in his life, a time when everybody needs someone they can trust.
Truly pathetic that his family(?) can’t take the time to come to the funeral, but will take the time to collect any loot they think they have coming to them.

Yup....honorable of you to do what you did and sorry for your loss. Man, I looked at a 69 Fury convertible years ago and looking out across the back looked like it went on forever! Would love to have it.

Another “thank you” for all your help. I could be wrong but gov’t doesn’t pay for funeral but will cover grave&headstone in a Nat’l cemetery. Would have to show funeral home a DD-214 and they would do the rest. Probably too late now.

RIP Pete. My condolences to you BB for the loss of your friend. You definitely earned some check marks in the good karma column for taking care of him. You're a good man.

As for his family, as Ghostrider said, definitely secure that car somewhere where the shithead ex-son-in-law can't get to it. Also, change the locks on his home just in case they have keys and decide to go help themselves to "family heirlooms". I know SFSI mentioned setting up a college fund for the grandkids. His thoughts are kind but misplaced. Those kids lived 10 minutes from their grandfather and never went to see him. They deserve nothing.

RIP Peter
it sounds like he wanted/chose you, found you
maybe even wanted you, to be it's new keeper
But;
good luck with the sale

I hope the funds go to a great cause
