Due to unfortunate unforseen circumstances, i was unable to get to the spring fling, where i was going to look for the clips i need. I need retaining clips for the approximately 5/8 quarter panel and trunklid chrome (actually stainless ) trim on a 62 savoy. I dont know if belvedere or fury are the same. If anyone knows a vendor that might have them, i would appreciate it . Thanks for any help.

I went to napa and bought a box of clips. You actually make these clips to fit your needs. Worked great on my 63 Dodge 330 with the small chrome.
 
Glassman would you happen to have that part number for those clips. Got to do my 64 trim
 
I still have the box on the shelf. I will get it for you. I have done 3 cars so far out of that box.

By chance do you have the part # from napa, and a pic of the clip? I too have some trim to install

Went to napa yesterday, found some clips that i think will work for my application. I'll just have to break off the tensioning wire. 8 clips, pt#
665-1141 moulding clips ,$5 plus tax, i'm happy. They had several other sizes and styles on display as well. Many thanks to glassman for the idea to look there!
 
I also found a place called auto fit. Got all kinds of clips nothing of course for my car told me its to old.
