Were rear seat speakers an option for a 1968 Coronet convertible? If they were available, does anyone have a picture?

Not that I know of? In my '69 Convertible the side panels were not in the best shape to start with, so I didn't mind cutting them to install 6-1/2" round speakers. This was in 2011, Installed Infinity Kappa 63.9i 3-way speakers. This was in addition of the two 3.5" Infinity Kappa speakers in the mounting bracket for the center dash speaker. Also added an amplified sub-woofer in the trunk.

Factory rear speakers were an option. It's been a long time but I believe they were 4 inch round single cone. Mounted below the arm rests.

See my post on moparts..... spelled it all out for you. Hope it helps!
