I'm thinking of ordering AMD bumpers from Jegs and wondered if anyone has had an issues with doing that. Was the chrome quality good? Not being able to pre-inspect what I'm getting is a concern. Normally I've been buying from the Bumper Boyz at the March show in Indy and haven't had any problems.

I got a pair for my Valiant, the fit was good and the chrome is pretty much the old factory grade, they look nice.

The last bumper I got from AMD was good chrome and fit was good also,it was however for a 74 Duster. 8 out of 10 in my book.

I have a pair from Goodmark. I imagine they come from the same place as AMD 'cause let's face it, how many companies would make dies for those things !! Anyhow, they aren't anything you'd put on a million dollar show car but they are as good as originals. There are the minor flaw here and there but if you're gonna drive the car these are the ones to use. I wouldn't give you $10 for what I've seen from Bumper Boys!

My AMD front bumper for my Bee.. same thickness as OE and in much better shape than my original! lol

Make sure you paint the backs of your bumpers to seal them up and keep them from rusting through from the back side.

I just wish I could find a rear one...don't care who makes it!

I got mine from Tamraz, best pricing and free ship.
Like said not show chrome but good for a driver.

Here's a better comparison, best I have right now. My AMD front bumper the way it came out of the shipping box for about $500 CDN vs my OE rear bumper that cost me $1500 CDN to have plated by the same place the Guild uses for multi million dollar cars. If I'd known AMD would be that good I would have saved the $1000 bucks and sold my OE off to someone as a core.

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely plan to drive the wheels off this car, even if it does have 52K original. Sounds like the AMD ones are the way to go. Free shipping from Jegs and they are running a $75 discount right now.

I'm thinking Goldmark may be slight blemish AMD. Goldmark has a lot of the same body sheet metal that AMD sells........................MO

Don't know about Goldmark but they are advertised as AMD's. Jegs will advertise blemished product at a reduced cost, such as wheels, but these bumpers are not that way. If they are, they will go back. However, I've always had good luck with Jegs and Summit Racing product.

I have the AMD bumpers on my Challenger. Fit and finish look great. The chrome is nice and shiney/bright. I am happy with them.
