Looking for a good restorable 4 speed console for a 66 Coronet. Also can anyone tell me the difference why the catalogs list a console for 67 and up? Wouldn't a 66 be the same as a 67 console?

The top plates 66-68 are the same. The correct shifter for your application is the 66-68 Inland console shifter.
