Very nicely done:thumbsup:

Looks like a tastefully built ride and all well done.

I search the internet on a nearly daily basis for 63-65 race cars. Surprising I’ve never seen this one. Musta been hidden away somewhere.

Mr.LemonWedge:
Clear out your inbox so I can send you a bBody message...thanks, Mike
PS: This car I just bought was NOT listed on the internet.

mike i have been looking at the pictures of your new car. very nice!. is the rear frame rail round tube or box ?. I can see the front to rear connector is round tube but cant tell what the back is. I know when I was building my car the weight savings between the two was significant. I went with the box tube because I felt it would be stronger in a bigger body car. my car ended up weighing 3088 with no driver. I watched dvw's build and other and with some of my own tricks for weight loss ideas. i dont know your plans are for the engine. but the intake on that engine was not a very good race intake. my street car would lose about three tenth's when I would put it on. the m 1 and a single 800 afb would go faster. have fun and keep us updated.

i can only imagine what Mr. Mike has instore with this new ride. with all his years of hittings the lights and power up or down to make it work. i'm sure we'll all be in for a great ride and the rest of you racers good luck this season and hit the lights hard the rest of us wanta bee's will be supporting you all from the bench.

The very back is square tube going across that the round tubes are tied into. Car weighs 3100 empty...but....it has steel front and rear bumpers and the only fiberglass on the car is the hood and deck lid. All the windows are glass (roll up and down) and the interior of the doors have NOT been gutted. Car could be lighter with merely glass bumpers.
The motor is NOT a race motor. It is merely at 440 6 Pack motor making about 425 (or so) HP.
6 Pack short block with the tri power setup / INDY SR heads / MSD and TTI headers.
Not trying to set records with this motor...it is a drive it to a car show motor, for now.
