1968 Satellite convertible, factory 383 with a 4 speed.
When I purchased it for $1500.00 it had a 440 with a 4 speed.
Sold it to a guy in Minnesota I believe in 1997 or so.

Yes, you should have kept that one :carrot:

I know quite a few, I wish I'd had hung onto also
I usually sold them for a good reason at the time :(

just can't remember most the reasons
except raising kids & drag racing is really expensive,
I couldn't keep them all

I was raised with Plymouth in the blood.
My dad always had a Plymouth to drive as long as I can remember.
He was superstitious about buying odd year Plymouths only.
One year he bought a new 1970 Plymouth station wagon, after he wrecked his 1965 wagon, next year he traded it in on a new 1971 Plymouth station wagon.
The 68 vert was my re-indoctrination to Mopars.

I too. Many of them over the years. Only one I was glad to get rid of. It was like the plaque.

Here's mine. 66 500 White, Red interior, Poly 318, console auto.

Paid $300 in 1982 to the original owner's daughter. Sold it in 1986. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure it got parted. :(

I have one I'll be finishing up this year (hopefully) It's a Sport Satellite convertible 383/4spd numbers matching car. Not many around, that's for sure.

I would like to find out what happened to this car, and if it was for sale possibly buy it back.

My list. In case any of you guys have one of them! All were sold in Moorestown NJ between 1979 and 1983.
1968 bronze Roadrunner 383/727 column 3.23, black Monte Carlo bucket seats.
1969 orange Super Bee 383/4 sp. N96 Black bench post car.
1969 green GTX 440/727 console green buckets 3.54 Dana.
1969 B5 Coronet R/T Hemi car 440/727 console white buckets. Front tires folded under courtesy of Danny Friel hitting a curb in the Turnpike employee parking lot.

I'd take back every running driving car I've ever owned and sold except one- 1985 s-10 4 cyl

Everything else I'd take back today if available.

PS there's 68 vert on ebay partially finished project with fresh black paint for 15K.

Nice car but not a

This is the one I want back!!!

factory 383-4 and 4 speed may be almost impossible to find.

I looked for 6 years and had to travel 1/2 way across the country to find a factory 383-4 66 Coronet 440 with AC, and they made almost 1700 of those. I've only seen 11 factory 383-4 cars since!

but for 15K with most of the work done, fresh paint, and a 440 to boot, that black car is likely a good investment and pretty close to what you remember having

Wish I were closer, it might be in my driveway

The one on e-bay has been for sale for awhile now.
You never know some times people buy a car have there fun with it and then it sits due to unforeseen circumstances. I know it's a long shot but I would like to get the one I owned back.

My 44070dart .. just finished the body and was wiring dash and had really screwed up my shoulder. I got pissed because I couldn't get my arm to work and the wiring was a mess. I just put it up for sale for $5500 and lost my 4-speed "Mutt" in 2007. Gave away an A-body 8 3/4 rear end, complete set of aftermarket gauges, paint, and new racing style bucket seat with the car. Low point in my injury. STUPID :(

You know what they say about hindsight...it's 20-20.....here's mine

However, if I still had that car, a lot of other things would never have happened. :D

BTW...that was just the first 50 feet of a full 1/4 mile burnout.
