Just starting to think about B&M shifters. In the past I allways got the Star shifter, but now thinking the Quick sliver for my 904.Any know problems with this unit.Thanks.

Buddy of mine had one in his truck and beat that thing every Saturday night without issue. I drove it a few times and liked it.
My wife's car has the hammer in it and it's not bad. Biggest complaint with it is the indicator signal light constantly goes out of alignment....I finally gave up on it...

Thanks mike67, for your thoughts, how did the pull up feature work smooth.

I liked it better than the handle ( plunger) release on the hammer...
I would have bought the QS for my wife's car but with all of her neck problems she wouldn't have been able to operate it.
The hammer gives her fits every know and then, I have a brand new Lokar waiting to swap it out for her.

Ya I am with you, looking forward to the ball as my new handle, but would like a few more thoughts befor i get 1.Thanks Mike.

I use the quicksilver in my '68, 440/727..happy with it. Easy to install and required only the initial adjustment and I haven't had to monkey with it since. I like the 1-2-D ratcheting feature with no handles or levers to work, when you want to shift manually just smack it forward. It does require pulling up on the knob (heh) to get out of park and reverse but that's easy to do and a nice safety feature.
