Wiggins, Mississippi now. EFI tablet says fuel pressure range from 12 to 39 lbs. Throwing a hell of a buck. Garmin took us to a shop that no longer existed on dead end road. Couldn’t make it back to 49, so got towed 1/4 mile to Ballman’s Auto. Shop that installed says it’s either power, ground, or the pump itself. It’s the million dollar PMW one. I got the best pump, and couldn’t install a trap door for easy access. Hope it’s power or ground. **** me. I knew no matter what was done, the fuel issue is almost insurmountable. WTF.

Did get to see Steve when there was no crowd around his car.

The door panel and handle got that way since arriving. If the Coronet lived in this environment, it would be reclaimed by nature in no time.

Dennis you need anything that either you or Steve can't get help with let me know. Got a gaggle of buddies down there and brother in law headed that way either in the morning or Saturday.

Thanks. Think the shop is competent. Will know by tomorrow. Appreciate it. We checked into the Hampton, and will walk to Walmart for beer. Locals have been great. Thank

That really sucks... EFI is great... Till it has an issue... It's ridiculous, The OE's have been running EFI reliably for thirty plus years yet the aftermarket stuff even when you spend $$$ still breaks down.... FWIW I run a fairly basic Walbro pump because I figure they supply many/most of the OE pumps.... Aeromotive for all their flashy high $$$ stuff really only makes a very small % of the pumps out there on the market....

And yes EFI has bitten me on the *** a few times...

But it's been flawless now for about three years...

It’s always the same. Fuel. Tank or lines or pump.

Dennis,

The offer still stands. I'll hook you up with carb and low pressure fuel pump to get you back on the road.

I'm about an hour from Wiggins, Ms

See what is found on a lift, could be simple. I hope. Thanks again.

My issue was the ground wire ON THE PUMP which is inside the tank. I drained that tank ,pulled it, fucked with the harness, at least 5 times before I finally said **** it and took the pump out one day to check it. The ground wire was broken all the way but 3 or 4 strands of wire making contact. Walbro pump. I think Dennis has a pressure regulator issue unless it truly is the pump.

Wow. I didn't even know Dennis was having issues! Last time I saw him and his wife was at Mopars at the Marina today, and as he was getting ready to leave, I was bragging about his Edelbrock EFI! I was saying how it fired right up when he picked the R/T up at my house. So there we are today in the parking lot, smiling and waving, EFI running flawlessly...
And now I just read the previous posts!
Edelbrock always has a booth sat up at the coliseum.
YES! Edelbrock has a huge display and tons of products at the Gulf Coast Coliseum! 9am to 5pm!
Dennis didn't even text me that he was having problems...I bolded "text" because I swear he doesn't know how to make a call on his "texting device" :poke::lol:
Let us know what happens Dennis!!
(shoot me a text:lol::poke::rofl:)

Damn, that looks like a lot of fun you all!!! Dennis, sorry about the fuel issues. Hope you get it back up quickly. Biomedtechguy, I was just down in New Orleans 2 weeks ago!!! I'll be back, the food was amazing. I would love to do this event as well:drinks:

Edelbrock is not responsible for anything behind my firewall. EFI problems are almost always fuel delivery. EVERYONE I know with EFI has had pump, tank, or fuel delivery related issues.

Wiggins, Mississippi. Nice people. Every local (in a Jeep) stopped to render assistance. On the other hand, am disappointed by the no firearm sign here at the Hampton, and no beer at the liquor store. Clerk say gotta get beer at Walmart. The South seems to be allowing liberal rules and **** creep in.

View of Wiggins from room 203. This is the Shop. The connections on the tank to check are fore and center. Needed the lift.
