Maybe the 2 traits go hand in hand. Gee, maybe being a politically correct pol doesn’t produce the correct warrior spirit.

Today’s military culture cannot produce a Patton. He’d been run out of the service at Captain. I fear we are so f*cked if we meet another peer adversary on the battle field, because no one like Patton will make it to Colonel, much less General.

Thanks for posting, he’s my favorite WWII leader.
 
If it wasn't for Patton several members and friends of my family would have died at the Bulge.
