Need a little help figuring out which port on the water pump housing goes to the heater core and which one returns. Installing Vintage Air and need to know which one to put the heater control valve in. One port is closer to the front of the car and the other is behind it. It is a 66 Charger with a 383.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Evan

I think I always see the heater control valve closest to the fender well, but I can't say for sure. Either side will cut off flow and that is the purpose.

I have a non ac car but looking at the firewall the hose on the right goes to the connection closest to the radiator.

They only show Hemi but R and RB the same.
