Here it is.. This was going to be restored and has a stich of weld on the back side already. Tabs are good and overall pretty straight with minimal issues. I think it would make a great core as the damage does not look extensive it's around the lower corner... $195 plus shipping which should not be too bad as I am in Pa.. Let me know then.
The problem with the welded area is the piece can no longer be anodized. It can only be chrome plated. So for now I’m going to keep searching. Thanks regardless, Dan

I did not know that. What happens when you try to anodize it? Does it not take?
It takes but will not hide, it shows , bleeds through.

Ok, thanks for the info, good to know.
It’s only the “lip” that has to “look” chrome. The rest is painted light argent silver. With those pieces, I fix the boo boo’s and polish the lip then paint. They look nice when all of the pieces are done.
