Hi, I know this is probably a shot in the dark but I'm looking for a 727 with stamping PK2538389. I'd prefer 3rd quarter of manufacturing but beggars can't be choosers.

Yep, pretty sure yours starts with an H. That’s a 66 440 trans from my research.

Just state that you want a HEMI trans number, so people dont do a wild goose chase.

What's the exterior differences between a hemi automatic and any other big block automatic?
 
None except on my 66 hemi pump housing seems to be machined for converter clearance. Sold what OP was looking for 8 years ago but still have a 66 hemi converter around.
