440s and mufflers- too Loud!!!

How about a good ole, full length factory exhaust system with factory HEMI mufflers, turn down, or chrome tips. So mellow. I can drive my Super Bird for hours without any issues. It has a beautiful idle sound too.

When we lived in the city the neighbors still hated the early morning window and picture on the wall shacking of the Chrysler big block. No drone and you could hear each other while going down the highway. Have not seen a Sonic turbo muffler in years.

My 68 Sport Satelite Convertible was driving me crazy with the drone when I got it. I have a exhaust shop at my house so changing the exhaust was no big deal. I put on a set of headers, X pipe. big body Dynomax super turbos and used Flowmaster Flow FX mufflers as resonators before the bumper. NO drone what so ever. It is pretty quiet also but that's the way I wanted it. 2 1/2 pipe.
Great advice! Added the flow FX mufflers at the back and it sounds great. Drone is minor and idle doesn’t wake the neighbors. Thanks!!!

Were the factory big block mufflers made by Walker or maybe Maremont?
