Exhaust Swap 69 RR To 69 Charger...Interchangeable?

Should be all the same except for the exhaust tips and tip hangers.

Maybe not, the charger is a longer body and 1” longer wheelbase.

Don't Dodges just have an inch longer wheelbase, not the whole body. They get the extra inch from different leaf spring mounts compared to a Plymouth. Floorplans and frame rails are the same between the 2.

Go measure a Charger/ coronet vs a Plymouth. Dodge is longe to the bumper.

It might work, might not. Yes front floors and chassis are the same. Just letting him know ahead of time so it doesn’t backfire on him. Get out the tape measure and compare.

Not sure how it's gonna work, but since it sounds close, I'm thinking of putting it on a lift and checking it all out. Might have to relocate hangars or something. We'll see. Thanks for all the input guys. Now I'm looking for Black interior parts.

What's the worst that can happen? You're either to long and have to cut, or you're to short and have to fab spacers. Good Luck

Hunt2elk is correct. The frame rails, floor pans and all the underneath structure are the same between plymouths and dodges....except that the dodges got a longer front spring hanger and a different hole location on the rear spring hanger.

Even when you span across years (66-70) that holds mostly true with a few exceptions of some mounting holes in the frame rails. I put a 69 charger trunk floor in my 4 door 67 belvedere to be able to get exhaust out the back with a mini tub. The pan dropped into the belvedere without modification.
