2200+cfm in/on a real race engine isn't 'far fetched' at all
on an old style cross ram, it may be a real stretch
the org. style 2 4bbls on a cross ram were marginal,
lots of fiddle farting around with them
& mods to the inside of the intake, to make them work properly
& there are far better intakes, even after all the needed mods
but that's not what this is all about
it's about some guy fabricating & welding together a couple of intakes
to make a 4 x 4bbl cross ram intake
& it's org. only intened for wide-open throttle
for 3 miles stretch, back & forth on Bonneville Salt flats
the guy in that above video claims it ran 11.60 1/4 mile
at 1964 NHRA Winter Nationals allegedly in a 64 Plymouth,
I assume 13:1 64 Plymouth SuperStock/Max Wedge
I don't know, a lot of **** happened back then
maybe in an AFX car
cool piece
I can only imagine what it's value is today
I'm not a Navarro aficionado so I wouldn't know
