Yea, really, as unbiased as I try to be, frankly anybody that still supports Biden simply ignores EVERYTHING HAPPENING AROUND THEM AT THIS POINT IN TIME!!! I won't bash you, nor will I hit red "X" buttons; but I am not in your "support Biden" camp in even the slightest bit.

Lol. Yes we have. But I'm honestly optimistic of the future. I believe we can have our cake and eat it too. And I'm very confident that science and engineering can solve our societal issues. But can it in time? Don't know. Hell, we still may end up blowing our selves up because of engineering accomplishments?
 
Watched Nova. Show on electric planes. Great Electric Plane Race." Very interesting and compelling. Including electric vertical takeoff that can fly autonomous. Just get in and it can fly 150 mi. (1k lb passager capacity.) Computer controlled air traffic control so we don't fly into one another. Or a combination of piloting and automation. And that's with today's battery technologies.

The most promising today is hydrogen fuel cell hybrid. All electric is great for power. Torque curve far superior to internal combustion. But lacks range with today's battery technologies. Hydrogen fuel cell is opposite. It's not good at delivering immediate torque like what is required for takeoff. But has far better range.

Exciting stuff.

Not against the future or what it holds but its going to be a very long time before an electric powered tractor can haul 150,000 up an incline and maintain the speed limit and do this all day long on only one charge
Not saying it won't ever happen but we'll be long gone, at least I will LOL

I agree!! Here's a load my buddy hauled recently. 265,000 LBS. I want to see Tesla's wind up truck pull that across the desert.

I'd be happy if diesel rigs maintained speed up an incline around here. :)
 
Have no fear, because Gates and Buffett are building nuclear power plants to help charge electric cars to combat climate change! Because radioactive waste is better for the planet than car exhaust! It only stays radioactive for a million or so years!
