Bought a 1967 coronet of a member here while ago. Just checked and found the broadcast sheet so now my question is the preservation of it. What his the best way? I was thinking laminating it.

That’s the worst thing to do with it.

non acid sleeve is best. It’s in Good shape so Now it will stay that way.

Nice car! Red/black coronet 500 383-4bbl 323 SG

Non acid sleeve?
Ive tried to find a decoding web site would you happen to know were i can do it for free, or is paying the best way? Thank you by the way

Found them now the break down, Hopefully someone here can help.

Make a half dozen copies and put the original in the sleeve and store it in a safe place. (like a lock box or a safe) You can fold a copy for the glove box or your notebook.

Yep on it, just ordered the sleeves and making the copies. Thoughts on the decoding part? C body has a free decoder haven’t found one for B body yet.

Put up A large photo or photo half and half. Fender tag?

I bought a Galen Govier option book but decoding is not a exact science unless you are a professional. There's a reason why he charges for the ones he does.

Took some pictures but ill need to retrieve the fender tag later on, but here’s what i got so far

The top line is administrative: Sales order number, VIN plus sales codes for the interior trim and stripe

Generally, lines 2-5 correspond to the three digit sales codes. (these tell you 'what' the car received. )

Lines 6 and 7 contain 2-3 digit assembly or part number codes for the specific assembly our part number for the application (these numbers tell you the 'which' or exactly what your car was built with. Which assembly, which part, etc.)

DO NOT LAMINATE IT!

Get a non acid sleeve from Staples or Office Max.

Scan it so you can make copies in the future.

Store it with other valuable documents. Treat it like the original Declaration of Independence.
