I am looking for a nice 1968 style ignition key that has already been cut.
I have a 1968 ignition switch with no key that I want to mate to a key.
I have attached a picture to show what the key should look like.
It's the ones on the left that have more of a square head than the later ones.

I think the original keys in '68 era looked like this set I had made for my older Plymouth.

68 keys were the squared type as shown. After 68 was the more traditional pentastar shape.

Yes,
The 1968 keys are the more squared type.
I have attached a picture of a used cut ignition/door key.
I am looking for an orphan or pair that are new or like new that
someone has laying around with no locks to mate up with.

I think you'll have a 1 in 100 chance of a key that fits.

I have my own dealer key kit with all the different size pins to match the key I find.
Then I will match it to the door locks also!
There has to be someone with an extra cut key that never got used.

Rekeying Mopar lock cylinders is EASY.

I think I might have one of those keys .....somewhere.

I've had it for decades.

I much prefer the pentatstar keys, but knew there was a window where these are correct.
