I want to convert my auto trans over to a 4 speed, wat will work on my 65 coronet, it's a big block car, can I use the pedal out of any 62-65 b body,n does anyone have a complete setup for sale

I think that Brewers sells the complete change-over parts, if you can't find them from someone here.

However, the pedals from a 62,63 have a different curve profile than the 64 and 65. They will interchange. Also, in case you have it, power brake pedals are different.

I converted my 361 BB auto 65 coronet wagon over to a 4 speed a couple years ago. Used a 10.5" cast iron bellhousing, flywheel, and inpection cover. The cross member is 4 speed only and different from the auto/ 3 speed cross member. However you can modify the auto into a 4 speed.I believe that is what brewers does because they want a core when you buy one. You basically put the rubber mount in the middle of the cross memeber. You will also have to have the rubber 4 speed tranny mount. I used a 68 23 spline 4 speed so that I could stay with my factory drive shaft as 65 auto were slip yoke and 65 4 speed were still bolt on drive shaft. A 66-67 B body speedo cable from napa will work with your 65 cluster and the newer trans speedo gear housing. You will also need the bracket that bolts to the inner fender for the Z bar, a V8 Z bar, and the bellhousing ball stud bracket for what ever year bellhousing you go with, 62-65 clutch fork, clutch pedal pushrod, clutch adjuster rod, 62-65 b-body pedals, floor hump, and what ever shifter box, rods, and handle you go with. I think that is about everything plus your clutch kit and bushings. I may have a few extra pieces if you go to trying to piece it together PM me and I can look if interested. I can also take a few pictures if need be.

When you do the conversion there are a couple of punch marks in fire wall already just need to drill holes. Note the 2 black nuts on driver side of master cylinder on the red area of firewall. Did the conversion in1997.

I have a 65 W45 (Corny Convert) and I got a Silver Sport 5 speed for it. I have it mocked up in the car and awaiting pedals from Brewers that I ordered today. Super excited and ready to get this project rockin'!!!!
