A little trivia about a star from the Dukes of Hazard.... I had no idea...

It really is surprising how many folks who went to Hollywood in the 40's 50's & 60's served in WWII and/or Korea.... Not so common after Vietnam & the Gulf Wars....

Who'd have known, lil' guy was so damn smart & a true patriot

And for his service, what is the thanks he gets? He had to marry Roscoe's fat sister Lulu. LOL
All joking aside, it was a neat piece of trivia to find out he was born in Buffalo, not too far from the area I grew up.

A lot of pro athletes served in WWII and Korea as well. Not so much in VN and the gulf. That was back when men were men. Not what most of the modern day pos are of late.

Edit: Wow I just listened to the clip on Boss Hogg. That’s amazing - you’re right who would have ever thunk it? But again as I stated above - Back when men were men. He personifies that….

When I was a kid especially, I thought it was so funny the way he described his wife...
