How many 68 Charger R/T's in triple black made?

Mine has been registered with Galen since 97, It’s finished restoration, 68 triple black charger RT 440 4spd no option except 8 track all factory specs. I f possible can I get the list of the 7 Galen registered triple black RT cars since I’m a owner of one, Thanks !

Kinda…. He said there was a surviving Bullitt charger which is untrue. 2 cars triple black from factory and destroyed on set.
 
I would imagine theres way more now than were ever produced originally.
 
Unless every car is known there is no way to answer this question with any real accuracy
 
Known surviving cars often represent 10% of production . So if there were 8 easy ones that popped up here, that's 80. Now given there's 17,*** produced....it's probably a 1000 if you split up the available colors. Let's be generous and say 500 had different color interiors.
So I'll say 500.

I have asked the same question and someone directed me to your post. I was trying to find out how many 1968 Black Hemi Chargers were produced. Without vinyl top/stripe delete in my case. Do you still think there were only 7 in black made total?

I'm going to do something a lot of people are unwilling or incapable of doing. Being honest.

There is absolutely no way to know the answer to your question as:

1) The underlying factory data does not exist
2) You can't combine or delete options to come up with a new number. That level of detail was never tracked by the factory.
3) The presumption that all existing examples of a car are 'known' on which to base any answer is incorrect.
4) You cannot make up math and twist logic to come up with a valid number

Voodoo math equations (this times this times this = ) is only guessing at an answer. There is no basis in fact by doing this.

People want finite answers when none exist.

There is no way to know. Make up your own number. A guess of seven is as valid of any answer anyone else can come up with but it's only a guess.

I'm guessing these numbers do not apply to your car. Thread is on triple black cars.

Not true,the Blue Charger R/T was destroyed,the Yellow close up/camera Charger R/T survived and was found in Arizona and restored. Both cars were repainted black for the film.

I know a guy in Ohio who ordered his new from same dealership my car was from Pottmeyer Auto Sales Marietta Ohio. He sent me dealer bumper decals and key fob that are from that car and there on mine now. He told he would order a new car every year and told them to put decals in car not install them. But he kept the Charger instead of trading it in since his favorite.
What a nice guy.

Just maybe you would like to know for your reseach. If I contacted you before, I forgot I did. I have a 1968 Hemi RT Charger in 3x Black. 2Dr. Spts. H.T. (no vinyl top) Stripe delete. Option Equipment and Accessories: Light Package, Sure-grip, Radio music master, Rear seat speaker, PB and PS, Console auto, Hood turn signal, Tinted windshield, Head restrains on both sides, Remote mirror (driver only), Locking gas cap, seat belt delux, Tach w/ clock, and undercoating. XS29J8B------. Sold new in Struthers, Ohio - 10/17/1967. This car did some tours at Nascar events and the stickers are still in the rear door window. Reg with Galin #115. I still have original rims and caps with the spare. The rims you see on the car were purchased new back around 1970 for the Nascar look. The first owner was a big Nascar fan and a Vet. I am the second owner. We were close friends. I have owned the car about 25 years or so.

Begging your pardon but I thought a triple black was black paint, black interior and black vinyl roof. Please educate me if I'm wrong.
Beautiful car by the way.
