After numerous cool distractions and countless hours searching for pieces I needed, I finally have a little time to get the 73 GTX running via the original fuel system. When I purchased the car, the fuel tank was removed but one was included. At 1st glance, which is all I gave it, I believed it was a NOS tank due to how it was packaged but unfortunately it was a repaired original that was a less than perfect inside. I've on several other old cars sealed the insides to be able to keep the original tank but due to previous repairs on this one I really don't want to do this. I'm not a fan of aftermarket parts on my cars and would like to find a save-able used one or a possible NOS tank. In the meantime, I'm contemplating buying a aftermarket so I can continue on the process of making it driveable again. Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket tanks and if so did you use a dorman or spectre or? I will probably post a wanted add but if you have a useable used tank or a NOS you are tired of looking at reach out also.

I have had no issues with Tanks Inc tanks. Used a few of them.
Thanks Paul, how close to an original look where they? I'll look them up
