I'm getting my 71 Satellite ready for a drag race in September. It's currently running the stock oil pan. I'd like to get a decent oil pan with good baffling that won't drag the ground or cause fitment issues as this car will be returning to street duty after this race. What are you small block guys running?

For reference, I'm running in a displacement limited class. The car has an LA 318 backed by an a833. It has a 3.90 Sure-Grip (yes, 3.90) so I'm scared I'll slosh all the oil off the pickup during launches.

More likely during braking.

This is the one I run on my Blown 340. I cut the bottom off my 360 Challenger pan and welded a 1" band in between the two cut pieces. Then added a baffle. A little work but way cheaper.
