Good, alsant - thanks for asking. I'm back to working normal hours. Today I worked my first 12 hour shift since I got back. It was a good day and I didn't get tired - even though I was up since 3am. Still in a walking boot and using crutches some. Although I walk (limp) around the house barefoot without crutches. Biggest thing is the tendency of swelling in the ankle and foot. I should find out more at physical therapy tomorrow as to how much longer in the boot.

Congratulations to 'Outlawd' (FBBO) for winning the "Top Picker Eliminator" title for the 2025 Gerber Glass and Collision NHRA Route 66 Nationals with an outstanding total of 143.0 points. He picked the class winners in both Top Fuel and Funny Car and his Pro Stock Motorcycle pick went to the final round of eliminations before losing.

Here's your 'Tuesday before the race' notice for the 12th annual NHRA New England Nationals, May 30-June 1, at New England Dragway in Epping, NH.
Please check the driver entries and post your picks before Pro Stock and Nitro qualifying starts so you will be eligible for all event bonus points. The first of the scheduled four rounds of Pro qualifying is scheduled to start at 5:00pm EDT (2:00pm PDT) on Friday.
As of this morning nhra.com currently shows the following entries:
15 Top Fuel
17 Funny Car
18 Pro Stock
Pro Stock Motorcycle will not compete at this event.
I suggest you double-check to make sure your drivers are racing since there were some no-shows at each of the first three events of the season. If your posted driver skips the event and you do not select a replacement prior to the start of eliminations, I will use your posted driver from the most recent completed event. Unfortunately, any replacement driver after the start of qualifying will not be eligible for any event bonus points.
In addition:

* The start of qualifying on Friday should be partly cloudy with a forecast high of 74F. The forecast shows a 45% of some rain after Friday qualifying.

Big news the Bandimere family have purchased over 100 acres of property near Hudson, CO for a new track. This is northeast of Denver on I-76. Drag racing is coming back to Denver.

@Nick2317, due to pending weather at the New England Nationals NHRA has moved the start of Friday professional qualifying (Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock) forward to 2:30pm EDT (11:30am PDT).
Qualifying picks must be posted prior to the start of Friday professional qualifying before qualifying starts to be eligible for all event bonus points.
If your picks are not posted before the start of professional qualifying I will use your picks from the completed Route 66 Nationals but you will not be eligible for any New England Nationals event bonus points.
Don't miss out.
