How long does re-arching last? Anyone know?
We had Bigred re arched in 1991? It’s been drag raced some and driven at least 5000 miles on trips to the USA and more in Canada. Spring’s are holding up well.
Our car had new springs done about 2005. It’s been down the track also. I decided to do my measurements at the front and rear bumpers. Reason for that is different wheel well heights. I might have mentioned I like the rear bumper up by about 1-2 inches.
Must clarify that we put the same springs in the PP1 as a 67 440 L car. Also had added a short leaf. Spring’s did not settle at all. So we pulled the extra leaves. Car handles well and I am certain that it has been very well tested.
To answer in Bigred’s case about 35 years ago.
