1969 Road Runner preservation

Close up of the original horn when you get the opportunity please Pat. Yours looks a lot like the ones I have, not the Bluish purple that guys are presenting these days..

I have to rebuild the horn as it worked 1 time:-( I understand somebody makesthe replacement rivets?

This is my first Mopar preservation. I have a fair amount of GM cars that I have preserved, but I have to say this fan shroud looks perfect, whereas most of the GM ones have a broken flange or cracks. Hard to believe this is 56 years old.

Install the new Accurate exhaust system, I was able to do some welding/repair and reuse the original hangers along with the original chrome exhaust tips. Getting closer to start up!
Thanks
Pat

The trunk cleaned up great, just a little surface rust in 1 channel. I treated any exposed metal with Sharkhide metal protectant. Original trunk mat, jack, and spare tire! Crazy this is a north east car.
Thanks
Pat

That is one amazingly preserved car - looks great Pat!

It’s been a fun project. I cannot imagine there are too many original paint 69 RR as rust free as this one, and only a handful in this one year only color.
Thank you!
Pat
