Looking for an original rebuildable manual drum/drum 1969 master cylinder.
 
Same as a ‘68 manual drum? Or are you looking for a date code one….

Not looking for date, just looking for proper operation and correct cap. It seems the Chinese ones perhaps have a different bore size which affects brake feel/application
 
My Chinese replacement from Rockauto had the same bore. But your correct the cap and bolt are wrong.

Ok I have one that would need restored from a 68 I am parting.. Can check its condition afterwork..

You can pump the pedal BUT brake line is rusted out so pedal goes to the floor... That said I can pull the cover to make sure it's not corroded inside if interested..

Sure if you don’t mind. It’s a good sign that it’s not frozen. How much do you need for it, I want it with the rod too.

I will try and take a better look at it tomorrow. Packing for Carlisle today. I just started parting this 68 last weekend..
