I framed houses for 15 years and learned to walk up and down a ladder without holding on because I was usually carrying something.

I decked houses once the house was framed. IIRC, straight out of high school. Had been working with my dad during the summers since 14 and got to where I could easily walk the rafters. These days....don't even want to get on top of a house!!!
