I just picked up this RT.
I was not really looking for a 67 but it was local and in nice shape.
Original Black 4 speed car.
3.54 Dana.
Very clean all original panel low milage car.

I have never owned one of these before, so I really do not know much about these other than they are pretty big and drive pretty good.

Anyone know how many 67 RT's were made? Auto vs 4 speed.

Thanks
Matt

Congratulations on your find. They are really good cars, I have owned two 67 GTX's and four R/T's. Very solid with few rattles. I think they built just over 10,000 but not sure of the breakdown of auto vs 4 speed. I have a red auto 440 now with red interior.

They are great cars. Drive very well. You will like it!

1355 67 RT 440 4 speeds made
8472 440 automatic made

That is a great car! I've had my 66 Coronet 440 for over 3 years plus I had another back in 1974-1983. I love these 66/67s!

Great find, Matthew! You will like it. I have had my 1967 R/T for 35 years, and it still puts a smile on my face.

Love it. Beautiful car. I have always liked 67 R/T's. I prefer them over GTX's, but would take either one.

Great R/T. I remember looking at many pictures of that car a couple of years ago when it was for sale. Absolutely beautiful car. Love my 67 Black GTX. These cars are great drivers!!

Nice.

Where was that hiding?

I'm on most of the local places where cars are advertised and sure did not see that.

Nice find, for sure. Not that many R/T's made compared the Chevelle, GTO, and Mustang in 1967. I've owned mine 41 years. Another question is how many real R/T's remain? Gotta wonder... The 4th time out of the garage since 1995. Runs, drives, stops after 3 summers of tinkering to wake it up from a long nap.

You already know my thoughts
But congrats are due either way. I knew you had been looking for a car for a while.

But having been somewhat of a closet fan of the 66-67 cars since I drove a friend of mines 67 GTX back in early 90s

When I bought my '66 in 2020
It had come down to two cars. The other contender was a 1967 Coronet RT droptop, Also in black. But white interior , factory air car ( wife wanted it over the Satellite I ultimately purchased)

Part of me wishes I had bought it , or bigger part wishes I had bought both. But at the time both were WAY out of my budget.
He sold the RT to a guy in Louisiana and as far as I know the man still owns it.

Either way these cars Do look good in black .

Guys,
Thanks for all the replies and information on the car.
I am surprised at the difference between the number of autos vs 4 speeds.
I am pretty happy with the car, not sure I will keep it, but really going to try to learn as much as I can and drive it a lot.
This car popped up on e-bay and was local to me in the Eastern Shore of AL. (I need to update my location) I went to look at it and the seller (who is a great guy) and I made a deal on the car.

I will get some more photos up this week.

Thanks again
Matt

Thought I would put up a few more photos.
This car is straight! I really like original panel cars.
The engine bay/engine has been repainted, I need to clean up some over spray.
The exterior paint is pretty nice (looks better in photos than actually is) there is some small spots of lifting on the trunk and hood, but looks good for old paint.
Interior is nice, carpet has been replaced.
