Yep, dogs are not dumb. Mine seek out shade at all times during the day. We play on the back porch during the day, and out in the yard at night, with the glow balls. We HAVE TO play with the glow balls!
Yup, after about 20 minuets chasing the Frisbee she will head to the shade walking it back so I know she has had enough.

, it's in the shademy dog Baron loves to lay in the sun out on the back deck, even when it hot as hell
(he's white mostly, but still) then he goes & lays under the boat where it's cool
or goes next door with their kids (11 boy & 14 girl) in the pool
She is pretty proud of that hole she dug!

I like that. Reminded me of our previous pair, Coco and Neko. Mostly Coco though. They would make a mad dash outside to tell the world they ate and it was good. Zeke likes to go out, sometimes barks, but mostly just do a quick walk around before taking a nap. Toga flops down and starts "convulsing". We call her Coma Togy. Pets are a constant source of entertainment.
