When is enough going to be enough? Wtf?

A 70 XH Charger I owned came with dork dish hubcaps. It was so stripped down, it had a design instead of a clock.

How CHEAP can they be?

My 1970 GTX was a heavily optioned car, but had the same blank, no clock or tach. Had the good stuff like air grabber hood, power disc brakes, and factory 8 track. I assume the original owner, a Plymouth mechanic and family man, had a budget, and the tick tok tach would have put him over.

For whomever said these cars didn't come like that. This is an all original 69 Hemi Charger that has around 30k original miles. See the painted wheel? The rear has a spare on it but, the original painted wheel is in the trunk along with all 4 hub caps.

I know that some people get tired of seeing the Rallye wheels on everything but come on… that blue Duster looks so much better with them compared to the hub caps.

Hemi cars only had two wheel choices, full faced 15 inch hubcaps,or dog dish hubcaps. Both used 15 inch H steel wheels. It took until 1970 for Chrysler to come out with a proper 15x7 inch rallye wheel for Hemi cars.

I honestly think the opposite. Maybe it’s the photo or the tire height or something, but it looks way better (to me) in the top photo.
