Just pulled the spark plugs in my new to me 440 and they are not the same size as the ones I got to replace them. What are the chances?

Unless you have a non stock higher energy ignition such as a multi-spark or capacitive discharge ignition, gap them at 0.035".
Pre-gapped plugs should always be checked anyway to either reset to a different value, or ensure they are what is desired as they can can get knocked out of the specified setting in shipping and handling.

Looking at those pictures makes me think of what a gynecologist sees on a daily basis...
With a patient who hasn't had a shower in six months.......that engine needs a damn good clean before blaming anything else for rough running.
Just my opinion of course.

Car runs great now everyone! Thank you. Still trying to figuring out why the one plug was gunked up but I’m sure being the wrong plug could’ve contributed to it.
The engine does need a good cleaning but it looks a little worse in the pictures since I caked everything with penetrating oil trying to get the plugs out.

If you had a misfire on a wire it could lead to the gunk, or if the spark was running to the wrong wire because they were cross arcing too.
