I'm almost at wits end with this car.

Still can't tell much from that one picture. Try holding the cell phone horizontally instead of vertically & take a few more all around, inside & under the hood.

This morning. All the interior needs is the seats to be done and carpet. Everything else just needs cleaning and the metal needs polishing.

Man that's all the enjoyable stuff... seeing the new perfect interior parts going back in feels amazing... that thing actually looks great.. i see the door/fender need some work but it looks damn good from the 1 pic....

Absolutely. Vertical pictures look terrible.

Doesn’t look bad at all. Just be patient and things fall into place. The reward is a job well done and you had your hands in it

I understand part of your problem. My car needed everything EVERYTHING! Took me 5 years part time when I could get to it. The part I don’t understand is your wife. Or actually I do my first wife was a lot like that unsupportive over demanding never listened. Everything had to be her way. But. BUT after 20 years of that I had enough. But my second wife is a real gem! She couraged me to buy the motorcycle I always wanted and this car. Damn she even helped me push it up the driveway and into the garage one day after her major surgery! It’s really shown me how lucky I am to have her!!

As for the car, I’m putting the finishing touches on it now. This is something I always wanted to do and I would never regret anything that I’ve done with it no matter how much time and money it because it’s mine and I did it!

While I don’t encourage you to make any rash decisions I do encourage you to think about what you have what you want and what you need. Life is short you only go around once (that we know of) so sometimes you have to make tough decisions and mold your life the way you want.

Hey it's been like 12 years on my project and I'm still at it, not ready to give up!

I consider my cars to be the equivalent of the Sisyphus greek myth, punished to roll a stone up hill for eternity. You can either bitch about the punishment or revel in the task. And even Sisyphus took a break while the stone rolled back down the hill
