I thought the drawn out restoration time was for his projects or "show" customers, I had no idea besides the cost you have to put up with that.
A buddy of mine took his car there... Paying customer, in the end his car did get some air time but that wasn't originally the plan.... It took over eight years... In the end my buddy is happy with the car and considering the original contract was from 2014 I gotta give Worman credit, he stuck to the original quote.... Is the car perfect? No.. But it's damn nice...I thought the drawn out restoration time was for his projects or "show" customers, I had no idea besides the cost you have to put up with that.
I know a guy.......Do you honestly think this car is going to be restored?

That part right there, I've had health scares and a number of people around me kick the bucket. Its a big motivator in not caring about a resto vs having something I can drive and enjoy while I am healthy, even if its a car only the Roadkill crowd would enjoy. I'm all about fix and drive then fix some more, but keep driving and avoid downtime.SNIP
He spoke of the L-O-N-G delays for the builds including a Road Runner that took 9 years and wasn't completed until the owner was in Hospice care. They took the car to the facility where the owner was, he sat in the car but was too sick to drive. He died a week later.
Do you want to wait until you're on your deathbed to take a ride in your car?
Justin spoke of the paint shop quality, how many cars needed to be repainted. He said that the "daughter" is not related to Mark.
Watching the show for years, You'd think they only did 68-70 B body and E body cars. Maybe that is because it costs as much to restore a Duster as a 383 Road Runner but the RR would not be as far upside down as the Duster would be when finished.
