What makes a Mopar engine special or different?

I know a lot of stock GM engines don’t like to turn high revs and some brands had oiling issues. Seems to me Mopar did build the best drivlines..

Big block Mopar have superior engineering vs. brand X during the musclecar era, IMHO things that set Mopars apart:

Dry intake manifold
Shaft rockers
External oil pump
Deep block webbing that extends past the crank centerline
Flat pan rail
Webbing around lifter bores
Simple water pump replacement
Distributor placement
Motor mount attachment

Special? LOOK at how well supported the lifter bores are in a Mopar big block:

Now take a look at a Pontiac 400:

Mopar valvetrain is superior to other brands. Our lifters are fully supported but hey....maybe the Pontiac has faster oil drainback to the pan???
Pontiacs had 4 bolts around the cylinders like the LA series, making them more prone to head gasket failures. The Mopar big block had 5 bolts per cylinder.
BBC have a 6-5-6-5 head bolt arrangement
