Oh boy, nerves already frayed and I havnet even started yet! Looking for any and all thoughts, ideas, experience anybody may have on installing the stainless B Pill trim on a 62-64! WITHOUT SCREWING UP MY DRIP RAIL PAINT! UGH!

I have attached a photo here of the area in question and will post a picture of the trim in a bit. Going to tackle this tomorrow so any info/help appreciated.

Looks like everyone missed this one. How did you make out?

I've used masking tape in some cases to protect the paint when installing emblems, trim, ect.

Thanks for asking! it turned out really well beleive it or not. Lots of WD-40, and a little blue tape (actually a lot of blue tape) and a lot od patience , with some cussing thrown in and all good! No chips scratches, etc. Very happy with the outcome.

means something!

Just for that you get the first view of the completed 3 speed job! I really dig it and learned alot about the vehicle!

But what a pain in the arse to do. I lost 20 pounds of sweat!

Could you imagine picking your car up at the dealership, brand new, and taking it home? I'd probably be gone for a week or two just driving it around and shifting through the gears
