Cutting his treats in half. I hide them in his kennel so he has something to look for during the day.

I feel for you, it's so so hard losing a fur babyOk guys as most who probably visit this thread know we lost our furry daughter Panda back in July. We miss having her so much. We are looking for another Blue Heeler as our lives are not the same when we open the door, travel, work on certain jobs, go boating or camping or just eat outside. Heck I am balling as I type this. So if anyone knows someone with a blue ACD female puppy no docked tail with in 6 hour drive from Philadelphia or Carlisle PLEASE send me a pm. I don’t think this is against the rules as this is a pup wanted post not a parts one. Thank you.

What a cutie! So after 7hrs of driving yesterday we have found a new pup. I think her name is going to be Hope. She is 4 weeks old and we can pick her up the first week of October. We have all fall and winter to train her which is good as our schedule is a lot lighter.View attachment 1914335View attachment 1914336View attachment 1914338
I constantly worry about the animals outlasting me too, and I don’t have any kids etc that could step in.What a cutie! Just saw a very nice miniature Australian Shepard pup today at the drag strip. I think they get to be about possibly 30 lbs. Being realistic, I cannot see myself possibly giving it the needed attention exercise. My wife wife still walks 1 mile to 5 miles or more at this time per day.
We both think, if the dog outlasts us then what happens to it. I don’t know what is fair for a dog? It is a quandary. We have been dog-less for two years now
She is a blue tick Heeler which is an Australian cattle dog. What breed?
That’s a tough scenario. Thankfully we have 2 boys that would gladly take our pets. Personally knowing how hard it is with out them I would risk that you or your wife would be there for the dog as leaving this life could happen to anyone of us at anytime so not necessarily aged related. A good dog would be rescued if you have relatives or friends that could care for it. I would get one, give it a good home, enjoy the great companionship and let the chips fall where they may….What a cutie! Just saw a very nice miniature Australian Shepard pup today at the drag strip.
