I drive my manual drum 69 GTX in the city burbs all the time. I actually drive shockingly similar to the way I do my full size suv. The brakes feel eerily like each other and that one has 4 wheel discs. It can panic stop better, and do more hard stops in a row. Spirited driving is no problem, at least not as it’s made out to be by some guys. It helps to k ow how to set them up and I’ll give you a pro tip- use the stainless braided hoses.
 
The gauges are roasted. Looks like the f8 69 bee I pulled out of nm about twenty years ago. Sat out there and needed a full redo from fading of EVERYTHING. looks like they skipped that here.

Ideally she’d get somebody to do a drive video and one with the idle at curb. If it won’t idle lower, expect the tune to be way off.

These aren’t all deal breakers. Just things to know what you are signing up for.
 
Well two days left and still at 35k. I think its a good buy at that price. But all the BAT auctions I have followed, the last couple of hours are when all the bids come in. So it will probably be bid over 50k. We will see if it gets over the sellers reserve.

Some thoughts after watching this thread evolve.

You live in Arizona. Cars originally from your area will have minimal rust, and are likely to have factory A/C.

You like green. Many people don't, and this will keep the price down somewhat.

A four speed is not a necessity, and will drive the price up in the market at large.

You want disc brakes. Conversion doesn't come for free. Loaded factory A/C car more likely to have power discs.

Easy for me to say, my bucket list car is already sitting in my garage. Cheaper in the end to hold out for one that checks all the boxes, not just some. I'm guessing if you pull the trigger on a car that only checks some of the boxes, a well preserved example will pop up on your home turf shortly after. I travelled 1500 miles for my four speed GTX that checked a lot of boxes, but the Demonstrator was only 60 miles away.

Is the sway bar upside down? I thought the hump in the bar went over that brace?
 
Bidding seems to have stalled a little over 36k. Wonder if it will met the reserve.

I am guessing in the 50's... the 440 4 gear is a nice touch. My orthodontist had a real hemi super bee 4 gear that sold for 36K in the early 90's. He used to take us for rides in it as his son was a friend. They are nothing to sneeze at. It road incredibly nice and hauled serious ***.
